It’s Spring Break, and Ezra and Juliette (my fun grandkids) are coming over for a couple of days, so this post will be short but very sweet.
I want to share a picture with you. It’s a picture of an answered prayer. I took it especially for those of you who have been praying, and praying, and praying, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for years, and years, and years for God to answer. Take a look:
That’s my dear friend, Teri, dancing with her husband, Kevin. On Saturday, Teri and Kevin officially became Mr. & Mrs. Crawford. And on Saturday, God officially answered many, many years of prayer.
A successful career woman who loves the Lord completely, Teri was single until Saturday. But as she walked down the aisle looking absolutely radiant, I couldn’t help but think about you and me and all of the unanswered prayers we continue to pray, and pray, and pray. And God encouraged me.
Maybe it’s been years . . . but God still hears.
And His promise to you and me is this:
“The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.” Lamentations 3:25
Precious sister, let’s do what Teri did. Let’s keep praying, and praying, and praying. But until He answers, let’s enjoy the good things He’s already given us.
Like grandkids.
Loving you and waiting on God,
Been praying, and praying, and praying for something for years, and years, and years? What answers has already He given you to enjoy today? I LOVE hearing from you!
