Today on the porch, I’m sharing my favorite quiet time tool and a few super practical tips that I hope will enrich your own quiet time. If you’ve known me for a while, you’ve probably already guessed what my favorite quiet time tool is. But today I’ll show you how I use it to meet with the Lord each day.
And just in case you’re wondering, a “quiet time” is simply time alone with God in His Word and in prayer — preferably daily but definitely consistently. It is one of The Basic Necessities for every Christian.
You cannot get to know someone unless you spend time with them, and you cannot get to know God unless you spend time with Him. Reminds me of one of my favorite Bible passages…
“Whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Philippians 3:7-8 NASB
So click play, sister, and let’s enjoy some porch time together!
