Did you miss me last Monday? I missed you! Forgive me for not doing a Get Down Glo Girl post last week. I’d just returned home from spending some sweet extended time with my mom, dad, and grandmother who just turned 95 (and she sure doesn’t look it — isn’t she cute!).
But I’m home now, and reporting in for our next-to-the-last-week of Get Down Glo Girl. Here’s my weekly weigh-in info: same as my last weigh-in — no loss, but no gain either. On average, my weekly weight-loss has been .5 lbs. per week. Wish it was more, but this middle-aged woman will happily accept that.
Next Monday is the final Get Down Glo Girl check-in. And after that, the holidays will be here — along with all of the delicious and not-so-healthy-not-so-low-cal holiday food.
You probably already have a pretty good idea of what’s on your Thanksgiving and Christmas menus. I know I do. And you’re probably already looking forward to digging in to all of your favorite holiday dishes. I know I am.
But if you and I don’t want to gain back all of the Get Down Glo Girl weight we’ve lost, we need to plan NOW for those in-between-Thanksgiving-and-Christmas meals. And WOW, do I have a plan for us!
