Right now my toes are painted splotchy peach with a smattering of obnoxious purple glitter. The skin around my nails might have just as much paint as the nails themselves.
This amazing pedicure treatment was done by my sweet daughter Juliette and I’ve left it and all its glorious messiness on for three days now. I even wore sandals to the office this week. Shanda can testify to my sparkling toes.
Remembering how carefully she held my feet and tried her best to pamper me has kept me from erasing her work with acetone. You might think it’s ugly, but to me it’s beautiful.
How do you define beauty? Are you more concerned about God’s dress code or are you chasing the world’s standards?
Here’s a pretty printable to help remind you how a biblically beautiful woman looks:

If you’ve done Laurie’s bible study Beauty by The Book, then God’s dress code is just a refresher for you! If haven’t and you want to know more about biblical beauty and how you can follow God’s dress code – I have good news! You can view all of the videos for Beauty by The Book and Beauty by The Book for Teens for FREE right here. You can also order both workbooks in our store.
I’ve done Beauty by the Book several times now, as well as listened to Laurie teach on this topic and it never gets old for me. More than any other bible study I’ve done, this one has made me a better wife, a better mom – a better woman. When you understand who God made you to be and spend time meditating on the truths of scripture – the effects trickle down into every part of your life.
As you can tell I highly recommend this study and I look forward to completing it with my sweet little nail artist and her sister when they become teens.
Your perfectly pedicured sister in Christ,
