Spring – What a beautiful time of year and it brings such promise of hope, renewal and beauty. I hope you are anxious to enjoy God’s beautiful creation. Spring is such a special time for us here in the South. I personally don’t think there is a prettier or more enjoyable time of year.
As we anticipate the next couple of months, why not have a garden party for those special girlfriends. Don’t worry about your yard – the friendship and laughter this event will bring will far outweigh less than perfect plantings. For your table, start with a white cloth and possibly add a piece of pink gingham fabric down the middle for your runner. Next select your favorite (or several) special teapot(s), add some spring flowers to the teapot(s) (either from your yard or your local grocery story) and there is the centerpiece. Prepare your favorite salad, some wonderful flavored iced tea and finish with the fabulous dessert I have shared below. It will be a garden party to remember!!
