I’m feeling a little homesick today for a group of women that I worshiped and studied God’s Word with for the past four weeks.
I miss you Sagemont Monday Night Live, girls!
Last Monday, we concluded the Warrior Princess Bible study. Spiritual warfare was a tough topic to teach, but seeing your sweet faces each week was a gift from God.
And because you were so faithful and encouraging . . .
And because you brought so many of your friends, co-workers, daughters, and others with you . . .
And because you worshiped so full-heartedly and sang so loudly (loud good not loud bad) . . .
And because you even pretended not to notice when my notes and your handout were nowhere near in sync during our last session . . .
But because, most of all, you are Warrior Princesses, I want to give you the most practical, powerful gift that I could ever give you: God’s Word.

When the fiery darts of the enemy’s lies and accusations come against you . . .
When Satan does his very best to discourage and intimidate you . . .
When you begin to tear yourself down and feel insecure . . .
Stand firm! Hold your position in Christ. Use His Word and these specific truths from Ephesians as your shield of faith and sword of the Spirit. And make sure to put on the full armor of God every morning because, “Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses” (2 Cor. 10:3-4 NASB). Remember: YOU are a Warrior Princess.
I also want to thank Lezli Busbee, Women’s Ministry Director at Sagemont Church, Trisha Drew, Ron Ingram and the Sagemont Tech Team, Jennifer Sapaugh and the worship team and band, Tricia Moore, the Monday Night Live greeters, and the Priority Ministries staff (Pam, Shanda, and Emily). It was truly a blessing and an honor to serve the Lord with each of you at Monday Night Live.
Wish all of you glo girls could have attended Monday Night Live/Warrior Princess. But as soon as the audios and videos of this series are available, you will be the very first know.
Keep standing firm, glo girls! I am standing with you and . . .
I am missing you.
Your sister,
Did you attend Monday Night Live, or do you have a favorite scripture that helps you stand firm against the enemy? Post a comment – I love hearing from you!
