Do you know who you really are? It is absolutely imperative that you do. Why? Because if you don’t know the truth about you, you’re toast.
You see, Satan does know the truth about you, and he’s totally committed to keeping you from that truth. How does he do it? He lies, and you believe it. And this is how those lies make you feel:
- You battle feelings of low self-worth, insecurity, and insignificance daily.
- You beat yourself up and tear yourself down frequently.
- You compare yourself to other women, and you’re always the loser (they’re smarter, prettier, more spiritual, more loved, etc., ad nauseam).
- You allow worry, fear, and despair to rob you of peace regularly.
Girl, are you as sick of those lies as I am? Are you ready to arm yourself with the truth that the enemy knows full well will set you free? Me, too! So, sister, let’s do something powerful together:
I’m going to give you a couple of scriptures that I’m using to oppose the enemy’s lies, then I want you to share yours with me. OK? I’ll go first:
When I’m feeling beat up and like a loser, this truth sets me free:
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1 NASB
When I’m feeling powerless and insignificant, this truth sets me free :
“Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Cor. 15:58 NASB
OK, now it’s your turn. Please post the specific truths you’re wielding like a sword (Eph. 6:17) to destroy Satan’s lies and experience freedom in your life. C’mon, now. Don’t swallow one more lie — even one like this: “You don’t have anything to share. And even if you did, it wouldn’t help anyone else.” LIE!
Precious sister, together, let’s encourage one another and every other woman who is reading these words to “stand firm against [Satan’s] schemes (Eph. 6:11). Together, let’s show him that we do, indeed, know the truth about who we really are. And together, let’s be free.
“It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” Gal. 5:1 NASB
Love!
Your sister,
