Have you been wondering what Laurie is up to? I mean, where is she?? You’ve been looking forward to Friday and then all you see is this.
An empty swing. Sure it’s Friday and sure that’s a porch with a swing, but it just ain’t no Front Porch Friday without Laurie! So where is she? What’s keeping her from catching up with you? I just had to find out. Let’s check the office, maybe she’s there?
Some fresh Beauty by The Book for Teens workbooks waiting to be shipped out, but no Laurie.
I wanted to ask Pam where Laurie was, but she was so focused on page layouts and edits on Laurie’s new bible study that I just didn’t have the heart to bug her.
I checked back at my desk and found this sweet note from one of our Priority Partners. This one is going on the wall.
So many lovely notes from all of you encouraging us to keep on keepin’ on. We cherish them. (Pay no attention to the Sam’s size bag of pomegranate dark chocolate in the lower right corner. Shanda and I kind of have a addiction slight desire for these nuggets of goodness.)
Speaking of Shanda, her and Emily were hard at work on some website ideas. Anyone seen Laurie? Anyone?
Hmmm. I found out she was at Sagemont Church on Tuesday. Hey! Is that the new bible study on that screen? Yup!
She was there all right. She’s piloting her latest bible study titled Are You A Disciple?. So exciting! But where is she today? I took a little road trip to find out.
Just past the fresh grassy pasture of cows and over a few small bridges, I found her. Right where I thought she might be. Right where she should be today.
Tucked away in her little home office working ever so diligently on Are You a Disciple?. This just might be the most powerful study Laurie has ever written. It will take you from casual Christian to devoted disciple in just 7 weeks. You want this study!
