As always, we are humbled by the Lord’s devotion and provision for Priority Ministries, supplied through your friendship, as we serve Him together.
As the end of 2013 approaches, we would like for you to praise God with us for the many ways He has used Priority this past year. We would also like for you to prayerfully consider making a year-end gift to Priority to further support the work He has planned for the future.
Every day, we hear how the Glo Girl Blog and Bible study resources are making a difference in the lives of our new and old friends. Here are just a few excerpts from notes we received since my last letter to you:
Glo Girl Blog: I absolutely love the devotions and information you provide from Laurie and Priority Ministries! Thank you! —Mandy
Guilt-Free Quiet Times book: (I’ve) always wished someone would write something like this that stood up against legalism. —Bobby
Glo Girl Blog (The 7 Deadly Sins of Women): I think you may be the only person in the history of the world that has addressed female sin. Everyone focuses on men and lust/anger/ego, but it’s very, very rare to hear why women need a savior too. Thank you. —Corey
The Temple Bible study: I realized why I was drawn to Priority Ministries from all the others on Google. My Sunday morning (class) just finished up the study on “The Temple”. It took us over a year and we sucked the marrow out of it. … the lessons on the tabernacle … (made it come) alive like it has never done before, and I just want you to pass along my gratitude for the blessings we received from the study of this book. —Linda
Beauty by The Book Bible study: I want to thank you sincerely for sowing into the growing ministry in my heart – to reach young women for Jesus. At 55, I am amazed that Jesus is taking me back to the first days of my marriage – it’s as if I am a new bride again discovering the joy of wife, homemaker, and mother. —Cherie
These expressions of encouragement and grace bless our hearts and energize our spirits daily.
And since we love to recount the Lord’s reassuring presence and faithful leadership, here’s a recap of our journey in 2013 and a look forward to the possible plan for 2014, as He allows:
- The paint is still fresh on the new Priority Ministries website, which is a technological blessing for Priority’s friends and customers around the world. The conversion process has been a year-long project, especially for Shanda, who tackled the gargantuan, complex, and tedious project with enthusiasm and grace. Every decision was focused on our beloved audience.
- If you’ve had a chance to download Emily’s free eBook, Guilt-Free Quiet Times: Exposing the Top Ten Myths about Your Time with God, you share our sense of delight. It’s fun and liberating at the same time. We thought of you when we created discounted gift bundles, perfect for teacher gifts, stocking stuffers, or minister appreciation gifts. If you have a friend who could benefit from Emily’s wit, wisdom, and encouragement, stocking up now will stretch your dollars even more this Christmas season.
- Our Warrior Princess: Join the Battle video project has been an extended work-in-progress this year. We trust the Lord for the timing of its release, and we promise to make a really big announcement when it’s finally available.
- An up-coming critical project will be replacing our Online Store so that we can offer downloadable audios and videos, as well as expanded shipping options, for our precious customers. Shanda has already researched cost-effective programs and will be rolling up her sleeves soon to lead us through that conversion. We need, and appreciate, your prayers, encouragement, and support to complete this project as soon as possible.
- A worthy project we’ve had on our wish-list for eight years is the substantial re-mastering of all of our audio teaching series. Soon, it will be our privilege to offer these new-and-improved sets with enhanced and smoother audio volume in addition to new introductory and closing narratives for more enjoyable listening sessions. Plus, when the updated online store launches, these lessons will also be available as downloadable purchases.
Those are just the highlights, but we remain in awe that God gives us the privilege of serving Him through this ministry. And never forget, sweet friends, that your prayers, encouragement and financial support are indispensable in helping us reach and teach women and girls to give God glory and priority. We thank God for you daily and praise Him for your generous contributions.
Thank you in advance for your end-of-year gift. May God bless your year as you continue to give Him priority.
In His love,
